    HI
My children who weighed between 3.9kg & 4.6kg at birth all out grew their baby seats at approx 7 months. However my niece has just come out of hers at 11 months as she was too tall to fit into it.
Sorry I can’t give you a more definite answer but there are so many factors that affect baby’s size its very hard to guess when they will not longer fit into their seats.

My son is 15 months and he still meets the requirements to stay in his infant car seat (23 pound limit.) Although, he is so close to the weight limit that we are going to switch the car seats out this week. His height and weight are both in the same percentile (I guess he is a bit small for the average,) he still fits fine head/feet wise in the infant carrier.

Mine outgrew his at about 6months.

My 11 1/2 month old still has a pound to go before she hits the max weight requirement for her infant seat. It just depends on how fast your baby grows.

It depends how big your baby is. My daughter was still in it until around 15 months old. The pound limit was about 22 pounds and she still hadn’t meet that weight. Now at 18 months we switched her to a regular front facing car seat.

my son wouldnt have officially outgrown his infant seat till after 6 months, but i moved him to a convertible seat at 4 months because he was too heavy for me to carry around in the carrier, and i liked the convertible seat better :)

most convertibles you can use from birth, so you could always skip the infant carrier and go straight to a convertible to get the most use out of it :)

My friend’s son was too big for his at 6 1/2 months. I bought her the MyRide 65- she loves it! Her son loves it too, it is really cushioned. He can stay rear facing for up to 40 pounds and then front facing up to 65 pounds- you should check it out, it would be a great investment!
