5 point harness extenders for toddler car seat??!!?

My daughter is 2 now, so i had converted her into a toddler non5point harness seat, and she finds a way out, ill be driving on the free way and all of a sudden she’s like ‘mom’ i turn to look at her, and she’s right in my face!!!! i cant exactly pull over to put her back in.. so im just going to put her back into the 5 point harness thing, the reason i switched her so early is because she’s a chunky little thing and the seat belt was too tight on her little belly!!!
are there any seatbelt extenders i can find for the car seat??
please help!!

thanks so much to you, the ‘cow’ who commented after you pissed me off. ‘glam mommy’ i did note that my daughter was heavy, i guess she weighs about 35 lbs, and she’s tall, so, yes i have had her in a booster seat for a while, i didnt want her tummy to hurt while we had her in the car, i didnt know what else to do. but yeah the orignal car seat i bought DID say it could fit her up to 100 lbs, however, she’s barely 35 and its uncomfortable for her, so i do use the car seat strap.

I have the straps on his car seat tightened as much as they can go and they are still much too loose. It says for 5-35 lbs. and he’s 7 lbs. Has anyone had a problem like this? What to do?

I’m going to give co-sleeping a try with our baby when he comes. I tried it with my daughter but it didn’t work out.

The baby is going to have to be on my side of the bed and not in the middle between my husband and I. My husband is a very heavy sleeper, rolls and thrashes a lot in his sleep. I have to wake him up about 3 times a night just to tell him to move over because I am almost falling out of bed, and we have a queen.

NOW!…this would be fine if we had a larger bedroom than what we have. Why am I doing it?

1) Don’t have a bedroom for baby, and won’t until he’s about 3-4 months.

2) I have no room in my bedroom for a bassinet. I just explained that very intricately in my question.

Move along, please. It’s “unhealthy”? Only if you’re an alcoholic, drug addict, smoker, or have unsafe bedding. Since none of these apply to me, and we don’t have the room for a bassinet, and the baby doesn’t have a bedroom, wtf else do you expect me to do? Throw him on the floor under my bed?!

And excuse me, but since when was it against the law to have a baby without having a bedroom to put them in? We’re in the process of building an addition on the house, so like I said, he’ll have a room in a few months. You tend not to read things, am I right?

Anyway, my question was about what type of co-sleepers are available to me. I did not open it for people to bash co-sleeping in a bed. If you choose not to do it, fine, but don’t attempt to impress your beliefs on other people. And DON’T presume to assume I “hant got a clue”…god, that just made you look *so* darling, sweetie.

Right now we have 2 children, but have thought about having a third so we would like to get a van or something with third row seating. We currently have a van, but the door just broke and we do not want to pay to have it fixed. We would rather just get something new. With 2 children in carseats it is a major pain in the butt to buckle them in right now. We need suggestions/advice on what would be the best vehicle to buy. Thanks!

A few of my friends who have just had children or have just had showers have added a convertible car seat to their registry in addition to their infant one. BUT the one I like (of course) is almost 300$. They all had it on theirs (some of them actually got it!) should I even put it on mine or skip it?
We are going with the Graco Snugride 35 for the infant carrier which should last to at least 18 months (hopefully longer) so I think its a little far off to add the bigger seat as well but friends keep suggesting I add it…what do you think? Did you have one on your registry and did you get it?
We do have enough room we are moving into a new big house before my shower! (of course right? storing it never even crossed my mind! lol) I am just so paranoid about being greedy but I keep hearing ADD MORE!! =( I might just try it…humm…
